I don't like rules as much as the next person, but unfortunately they're necessary in order for a community to run smoothly. Please read all the rules so that you can provide the code words when it comes to your application to prove that you actually have read them. Thanks. =]

{x} Don't create an account if you're not going to role play (or do anything for that matter). This is a RPG site and it requires activity to take place for everything to operate. If you don't do anything at all within a week from the day the you registered, your account will be deleted.

{x} After registering your account, you have 3 days in which to start your application.

{x} If you submit an unfinished application, you only have a week to finish it from the time when you first registered your account.

{x} Try to be active as you can. I realize that we all have lives outside the role playing world and I want this role play to be a good thing that you don't have to come to, but I want you to try to come online as often as you can manage. If you could post at least a couple times a week that would be enough, but more time online would be great.

{x} You can create as many characters as you want as long as you create a seperate account for each and keep all accounts active.

{x} No God-modding, which means you're in control of your character and your character only. There may be exceptions if the member of the particular character grants you permission if they're going to be absent for a while, but other than that there are no exceptions.

{x} Please try to stay in character. Don't write anything in the RPG that your character wouldn't do.

{x} A member clean up will take place every so often to keep this forum active. If you do not post within this time frame (without stating a plausible reason on the 'Absent' board) you will receive a PM warning for your first time, if you do it a second time, your account will be deleted. If you have been absent for a month without explaination you will be automatically deleted. May seem harsh, but some times it's necessary in order to run an active board.

{x} Do not disrespect other members (staff included) on the board. That means no drama (OOC of course) or discrimination of all sorts. If this happens, serious action will take place. You may go free with a warning, but a suspension or even a deletion may follow if you cross far across the line. Opinions are allowed if you respect others beliefs as well.

{x} Only human photos please, no anime.

{x} When creating a character, remember they must have flaws. No one is perfect, so do not make them perfect. Mary-Sue's and Gary-Sue's are not welcome. If you need a definition of what they are, I suggest you click here to find all the information you need.

{x} When it comes to role playing try to write at least two average paragraphs per each post. Give others something to work with, talk about how your character is feeling, write out their thoughts, tell us something about them, don't just stick to dialogue.

{x} Try to be as literate as you can. We won't set a certain level of literacy because everyone is different but use all your correct grammer, spelling etc and make sure your writing flows and that should be enough.

{x} When role playing, please write in third person. However, you may use first person when you're writing up your characters thoughts if you wish.

Third person example: She turned to open the door.
First person example: I turned to open the door.

{x} We will allow swearing and sex to be involved in the role play, but please don't make it too graphic. Some people may be offended by this, so please warn people at the top of your role play before you start.

{x} No pornography of any sorts on this site please. It's gross. The code words are: 'Save me from this place'. Please type this in your application when asked if you have read the rules.

{x} If you've finished with a thread (whether it's abandoned or dead) place the word 'closed' in the title and one of the staff will move it.

{x} Your signatures must not stretch the page, if they do, your signature will be deleted and you will be asked to resize it. Sorry, but it's annoying.

{x} You cannot continuously advertise for a site other than in the plug board or officially accepted by using the form in the Affiliate board. This includes harassing PMs to other members and on the C-Box. If you do, the same penalty will apply as if you disrespected the staff and/or members, plus you may be banned from the site.
