Teenagers from the ages of thirteen to nineteen from around the world all met in Los Angeles in the United States of America to put their independence to the test. Little did they know, their independence would be tested on a more extreme level than they expected.

In LA they all got on a plane that was destined to fly to Honolulu, Hawaii, where they would live for a month. Some knew each other and others didn't, but all of them had no idea of what fate had in mind for them. Within only the duration of three hours in the air, the plane hit powerful turbulence that were created by an unexpected storm.

Panic arose as the the plane went down. People rushed for oxygen masks as they buckled themselves into their seats, in hope that it would be enough for their survival as the plane plummeted down...and down...and down...

While they all thought that they would crash into the middle of open sea, they realized that it was quite the opposite as the plane impacted head first onto the beach of a unknown island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The pilot and the pilot assistant, the only adults on the plane died instantly from impact.

These teenagers now have to survive on their own. Will they survive the island? Or more importantly, will they survive each other? Only you can decide.

7th of August
It's time to nominate members for the member spotlight, so make sure you do so. This can be found on the 'News and Announcements' board. It would be much appreciated if everyone participated.

8th of July
I added a promotional video to the site. The footage and audio are from the television show 'Lost', I only edited clips together. I hope you like it! Enjoy!

6th of July
A sub-board in the 'Plug Board has been added for members only. Some more songs have been added to the soundtrack too.

3rd of July
As you can see I've added small graphics around and within the side tables. I think that they neaten the side tables up a bit more and hopefully make everything look a little more organized. I've also added another role play location to the island and a new background to the current skin. I hope you like the new things added to the forum. Enjoy!

This is the soundtrack of the island. Although the battery power of the teenagers i-pods may have taken their last breaths and died, that doesn't mean that the survivors can't have a soundtrack describing their feelings and experiences on the island. To listen to some of the songs press play and scroll through the songs that interest you. If you think that a song needs to be here, PM me, Larnie (aka Layla and Audrey) and I'll see what I can do. All songs must relate to our characters and their pasts, experiences and feelings or the island itself, as well as relationships and bonds forming on the island.

Hey guys I've been thinking about adding some more role playing locations for the island and I could use some suggestions for what sort of locations that should be added. I may not add all of them, just the ones that the majority like the idea of, but if you could list as many as you can think of, that would be great. XD

We should definately have a secluded/secret beach. For couples and private gatherings.

Also since you mentioned there might be a volcano on the island I think there should be a mountain peak/volcano location, and maybe a canyon/waterfall location.

And I was also thinking that maybe there should be something on the island that makes the survivors think, 'What is that doing there?' Not copying from Lost and having a plane or a hatch or ruins or anything, but something different. Maybe something more natural like a strange rock formation, or a crater, or maybe even something man-made that is really old.

What do guys think?

^^I very much agree with Leon that there should be some type of natrual feature type thing such as a waterfall or a canyon thing

I read this and I got thinking maybe go with the man made idea like they find something that gives them evidence that here used to be others here, but what happened to them? Did they die? Leave? what? But how you would turn that into a new area, I don't know. It sounds more like a sub-plot type thing to me, but I like it.

I'll go ahead and chip in to say that I'm really digging this (not to mention the others) idea.

As far as my own ideas for new locations, what about a jetty or a reef? I'm not sure what other people's mental images of the island are like, but I would figure that there would be some sort of reef surrounding it. I don't watch lost (so I don't know if I'm copying it or not) but not only are reefs a good place for fishing/eels/shark bites, it could also act as a barrier between the island and the open sea.

Alrightie, so we have a secluded beach, volcano, canyon with a waterfall, reef, and the 'old abandoned area' as I'll call it for now. The last could very plausibly be used for a subplot, it gave me an idea.

Any other suggestions? I'll be working on adding these if we all agree on them.
